Yoga Studio Etiquette

Be respectful of the other yogis by making thoughtful health choices. If you suspect you are under the weather or have been exposed to illness, please do not attend class. You are welcome to practice masked or unmasked, unless the teacher specifically asks students to mask. If you come to the studio without a mask, but decide that you want one, simply ask the teacher or studio assistant.

Try not to eat a full meal at least an hour and a half before class. A full belly may interfere with your practice. Eating a small snack is okay.

Doors to the studio will be open 5 minutes before class starts. If you arrive before the doors are open, please wait outside. Someone will arrive shortly to open the door.

Please minimize the personal belongings you bring into the studio, as we are a boutique studio with limited storage space. A water bottle is suggested.

Please remove your shoes when you enter the studio. You may practice barefoot or with grip socks.

Please silence your cell phone, smart watch and any other electronic devices.

Please wipe down your mat and blocks at the end of class. Please lint roll your bolster to reduce the amount of potential allergens, such as pet hair, in the studio.

Please remain quiet and still during savasana.
